No hab\u00eda una noticia que me pudiera haber alegrado m\u00e1s el d\u00eda. Dos de mis bandas preferidas anuncian nuevo material para este a\u00f1o en un split conjunto. El lado m\u00e1s negativo es que el split solo contar\u00e1 con dos temas. Demasiado corto para tanto tiempo esperando.<\/p>\n

Por un lado tenemos a los grandes Sunny Day Real Estate<\/strong>, uno de los pilares fundamentales del emo de los 90 que en 2009 volvieron a reagruparse para tocar en directo y que anunciaron se pondr\u00edan a trabajar en nuevo material. Por fin podremos escuchar un tema nuevo desde su \u00faltimo disco The Rising Tide<\/strong><\/em>. El tema se titular\u00e1 Lipton Witch<\/em> y vendr\u00e1 acompa\u00f1ado por otro tema nuevo de Circa Survive<\/strong>. El grupo liderado por Anthony Green<\/strong> (el cual por cierto anunci\u00f3 recientemente su vuelta a los escenarios junto a su antiguo grupo Saosin<\/strong>) aportar\u00e1 otra canci\u00f3n al trabajo, Bad Heart<\/em>. El disco saldr\u00e1 el d\u00eda del Record Store Day<\/strong> y tendr\u00e1 tirada limitada.<\/p>\n

I went to see a few of the Sunny Day Real Estate shows when they toured in 2009 and I knew they\u2019d written and recorded at least one song during that time. I got Jeremy Enigk\u2019s info from a mutual friend and emailed him asking if they had anything planned with the track. I knew they were on a hiatus and I hated the idea of that song never being released. Jeremy spoke with the other guys who all seemed interested to do the split I had I proposed. We had a B-side we\u2019d been sitting on that had a mellower vibe which seemed to balance their more rocking song in a way that another upbeat jam might not have. I couldn\u2019t be more happy that this is happening. I honestly think this one of the best songs Sunny Day has ever written and I\u2019m really happy that fans are going to get to hear it.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
