Dos a\u00f1os m\u00e1s tarde, el cuarteto vuelve con el disco que deber\u00eda consagrarles definitivamente.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Un equilibrio que contentar\u00e1 a diferentes gustos<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En cuanto a la composici\u00f3n, el grupo ha sabido equilibrar en este disco las estructuras cuadradas con los desarrollos libres, la dureza bestial con aut\u00e9nticos y bellos b\u00e1lsamos mel\u00f3dicos. Los estribillos, sin ser el eje de las canciones, tienen la importancia necesaria, sin menoscabo de la formaci\u00f3n de largos minutajes, en los que se da cancha a lentas progresiones o a bajadas de revoluciones a favor de pasajes introspectivos.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Desde influencias cl\u00e1sicas a vanguardistas<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><div class=\"video-container video-containerx\"><div class=\"entry-content-asset\"><iframe width=\"1140\" height=\"641\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/WE4uzhZy4eI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div><\/div><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lo primero que destaca de <em><strong>The Hutch<\/strong><\/em> es que <strong>Steak Number Eight<\/strong> siguen sin casarse sin ning\u00fan estilo. Tenemos recurrentes destellos del post-metal de <strong>Isis<\/strong>, rico en texturas de guitarras (<em>Black Eyes<\/em>), riffs supermetaleros que son aut\u00e9nticos martillos (<em>Cryogenic<\/em>, <em>Exile of a Marrow<\/em>), guitarrazos heredados del hardcore y por si fuera poco, orfebrer\u00edas musicales y espirales de arpegios que puede llegar a recordar a <strong>Mastodon<\/strong> (<em>Push\/Pull<\/em>) o a <strong>Cave In<\/strong> (<em>The Shrine<\/em>). Quiero destacar como muestra de esta impresionante mezcla de sabores el tema <em>Pilgrimage of a Black Heart<\/em>, capaz de llevar un riff de sello cl\u00e1sico a una experimentaci\u00f3n que acaba desembocando en un desgarrado momento con p\u00e1tina g\u00f3tica, formado por gritos, piano, y enormes tambores.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Llegando hacia el ocaso el grupo parece dar m\u00e1s rienda a los momentos mel\u00f3dicos de la grave voz de su cantante Brent Vanneste, destacando por su pegadizo estribillo <em>Asshore<\/em>, o a los pasajes m\u00e1s invernales y en sinton\u00eda con su abiertamente revelado gusto post, algo menos inspirados que en la primera mitad.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ahora s\u00ed: s\u00f3lidos y cohesionados<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><div class=\"video-container video-containerx\"><div class=\"entry-content-asset\"><iframe width=\"1140\" height=\"641\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/j6FdNtLQYK8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div><\/div><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Volcando las mejores influencias del rock y el metal de las \u00faltimas d\u00e9cadas, desde el popular grunge hasta la vanguardia post, <strong>Steak Number Eight<\/strong> han conseguido, sorprendentemente, su disco m\u00e1s cohesionado y s\u00f3lido hasta la fecha, pero a la vez repleto de colores y matices en los que disfrutar. <em><strong>The Hutch<\/strong><\/em> es el tercer disco de la confirmaci\u00f3n, muestra de las exquisitas habilidades art\u00edsticas de un grupo que, por su enorme juventud, todav\u00eda nos tiene mucho que ofrecer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Desde su anterior trabajo All Is Chaos (2011) venimos reivindicando fuertemente a esta joven banda procedente de B\u00e9lgica.
